Erris Area

The first time through here, all the cribbing was still in place on the entrance to the tunnel. In later years it seems to have fallen away. This image is looking at the tunnel facing towards Summerland.

This area is accessed from just about any side road off of the Old Summerland Road out of Princeton. Close to here on the Old Summerland Road, is Chain Lake and Osprey Lakes, great places to take the family camping.

There is a really tall steel bridge here as well, which now has handrails on it. Until visiting the Myra Canyon, I had not seen any bridges this high. Here are some pictures of it. Click on a picture to see a larger one.
